Northstar Courier is a free adventure title for PC from indie developer drurylain. It is an open-world game wherein players take on the role of a courier delivering packages throughout a quaint bayside town while getting to know its residents and its surroundings.
Similar to hypnagogia or Peeb Adventures, Northstar Courier takes cues from classic PS1 games of decades past for its design, employing low-poly graphics. This demo serves as a preview of its story, gameplay, and what players can expect in the future as development for the game progresses.

In Northstar Courier, you play as a 20-something that just moved into a little bayside town. With nothing but her trusty and rusty scooter, she will start a new life and take on a job as a package courier. You must now navigate your way and get accustomed to a new environment as you fulfill delivery requests and take in the beautiful sights around you.
You'll get to meet and interact with various types of people in this game, from the residents to your mysterious company. Speaking of, your employer will also have you go on a mini-expedition/quest of sorts to locate and photograph rumored cryptids, which are scientifically theorized animals that may or may not exist. There are over 10 cryptids to track down all over the town.
What's more, you only have until the clock strikes midnight to complete your objective. Failure to do so — well, you will have to find that out for yourself. As mentioned earlier, this is just a demo, and so the gameplay is short, at around half an hour. It's still actively being developed, and there is more content to come in future updates.

Overall, Northstar Courier is a nice little adventure game in the style of classic PS1 games. It has a good vast open world to explore, various characters to meet, and multiple rate cryptids to track down and photograph.
